Dr. Sarah has a PhD in the Teaching, Learning and Culture, a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certificate from the University of Texas at El Paso. With over 17 years of teaching ESL and Arabic nationally and internationally, Dr. Sarah has been committed to empowering educators and promoting inclusive language and literacy learning environments.
Esteban Najera, MA; M.Ed.
ESOL & Testing Professor at Sin Fronteras Language Center
Mr. Najera holds multiple degrees from the University of Texas at El Paso, showcasing his academic prowess. These include an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in bilingual education, an M.A. in English and American Literature, a B.A. in English and American Literature, and a B.A. in History. Specializing in writing courses tailored for English learners across various proficiency levels, Mr. Najera's teaching philosophy is grounded in acknowledging the socio-cultural-historical framework each student brings into his classroom.
Yuliana Dominguez, MA
French Professor at Sin Fronteras Language Center
Yuliana is a passionate and experienced language educator specializing in teaching French as a second language. With a B.A. in French, an M.A. in Applied Linguistics, and a TESOL certificate, she is dedicated to helping students achieve their language goals. Yuliana's teaching approach is fun and engaging, and she has a strong interest in language evolution. She has also gained practical experience through visits to France for language immersion, teaching English, and completing a one-week internship at the Alliance Française de Paris. Yuliana's accomplishments include passing the DALF-C1 test, showcasing her advanced French language proficiency.
Ghadeer Hajeer, AA
Arabic Professor at Sin Fronteras Language Center
Ghadeer is a graduate from Saidoon College in Lebanon and holds an Associates degree in accounting. Native to the Arabic language, Ghadeer has dedicated her career in the US to teaching Arabic. She has more than seven years teaching experience and a rich knowledge of the modern teaching techniques of the Arabic language and culture. In addition, Ghadeer serves as the supervisor for Arabic online programs at Furqaan Academy and is experienced in tailoring lesson plans to meet all learner's needs and scaffolding students in a positive student-centered learning environment.
Gena Hana, AA
STEAM Instructor at Sin Fronteras Language Center
Gena is a dedicated math educator with a passion for making mathematics accessible and enjoyable. Armed with a solid foundation and a mathematics certificate from a prestigious New York college, she is currently pursuing a computer science degree at the College of Staten Island. With three years of experience as a math teacher, Gena excels in adapting her teaching approach to meet the unique needs of diverse student groups, fostering both understanding of mathematical concepts and a genuine interest in the subject.
Judith Jaurrieta, BA

Judith is a highly accomplished professional with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and a minor in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She currently works as a Paraprofessional for Special Education and is a Certified Interpreter for the El Paso Independent School District. Judith has over 20 years of experience working with ESL/Bilingual students, providing instructional support and educational assistance. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and her passion for languages was reignited during her time abroad in Germany. Judith is dedicated to promoting student success in English language acquisition and is pursuing an Alternative Certification to teach in Texas.
Claire Guzinski, MA

Claire is an experienced educator and a published scientist specializing in sheltered science instruction for ESOL learners. With over 15 years of research and teaching experience, she holds an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, a B.S. in Biology and an B.A. in Spanish. Claire is passionate about making Science accessible to all learners using simple language, visual examples, and a student-centered approach for optimal learning outcomes. Her positive, engaging individualized lessons meet the needs of all learners.
Po Ku, MFA
Music Professor at Sin Fronteras Language Center
Pauline is a recent Master of Fine Arts graduate in Creative Writing from The University of Texas at El Paso. With a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Caltech, she was awarded The Milton and Rosalind Chang Career Exploration Prize in 2022, funding her writing workshops. She taught piano in Portland for a couple of years and has been composing for 15 years. Her works include a novel, poems, short stories, and a full-length screenplay, with a penchant for love songs and songs about her pug, Lucy.

Jennifer Mansour, PhD Candidate

Jennifer is a PhD candidate in the Sociocultural Foundations strand of the Teaching, Learning, and Culture doctoral program at the University of Texas at El Paso. Jennifer is specialized in literacy and biliteracy and a pioneer in incorporating technology in the classroom. She has more than twenty years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) at the college level. Jennifer is an adjunct professor at El Paso Community College and Austin Community College. In addition, Jennifer is a published author and a researcher in the field of education.

Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). She is passionate about helping students achieve their language goals and creating a supportive learning environment and she is committed to ongoing professional development and sharing her expertise with students at Sin Fronteras Language Center.
Meggin Wood, MA
Poetry Professor at Sin Fronteras Language Center
With a Master's in Creative Writing in Poetry from New Mexico State University, Meggin has extensive experience teaching Rhetoric, Poetry and the art of crafting arguments. She has, also tutored in the field of English for more than five years at El Paso Community College. Meggin's passion for literature has led her on a journey to teach others how to enjoy developing their voices and marvel at hearing how powerful words can be. Her teaching approach is engaging, warm, and fostering to inspiration and creativity.
